Essential vitamins include Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Glutithione, and other essential amino acids are frequently supplemented to provide the necessary boost.

Some benefits of vitamin and amino acid supplementation:

  • Increase fat metabolism

  • Eliminate free radicals that cause cell damage

  • Improve immune function

  • Improve mood and motivation

Injection Process

During your initial consultation, your provider will do a full assessment and discuss your reasoning and treatment goals.  Through this process, we will determine the appropriate vitamin and amino acid replacement needed.  This is a time when you would share any medical history or allergies. After a history, we will describe the process of injection. Your provider will prepare your already selected vitamin/amino acid injection, clean your skin where the injection will be placed(usually upper arm, gluteal or stomach) and then administer the medication. Usually this process is done in less than 15 minutes. There is minimal to no bleeding, and this can be done on a lunch break, after work or even before work.

What to expect after your treatment

Your provider will educate you on what to expect after your vitamin replacement. Some individuals report a slightly elevated heart rate, feeling of jitters or tremor, and a boosted feeling.  Most individuals will benefit from once weekly injections for the course of 2-3 months. Your provider will recommend a maintenance schedule for you going forward. You should start to feel the changes one to two weeks after your initial vitamin injection.
