Botox and other neurotoxins will provide anti-aging effects when the expressive muscles on the face are treated. These neurotoxins simply reduce wrinkles and give you a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Injection Process

During your first consultation, your provider will do a full assessment and discuss your aesthetic goals.  Through this process, your provider will discuss the appropriate neurotoxin and the target areas.  This is a time when you would share any medical history or allergies. After the consultation, your provider may mark on your skin the locations of the injection sites. He/she will also discuss the amount of units needed to achieve your goals.  This treatment is pretty tolerable, however, we have several options to reduce pain and/or anxiety.  The full process takes between 15-30 minutes (which is perfect to grab during lunch ;).

What to expect after your treatment

Your provider will educate you on the dos and don'ts after getting Botox. If you would like more information on post injection instructions, CLICK HERE.  You should have full results by two weeks. At this time, it is recommended to schedule another appointment so that your provider can see your outcome and possibly add more if desired.  It is important to get before and after photos so you can see the change.  Botox is recommended every 3-4 months to maintain.
