Acupuncture
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a holistic treatment based on traditional Chinese medicine that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body. It helps balance the body’s energy (Qi) and promotes natural healing by improving circulation and stimulating the nervous system.
What conditions can acupuncture treat?
Our acupuncturist specializes in:
Aesthetics: Enhancing skin tone, elasticity, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Pain Management: Treating chronic pain, migraines, joint discomfort, and tension.
Mental Health: Reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress, and improving overall emotional balance.
Acupuncture is also effective for insomnia, digestive issues, and boosting overall wellness.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most people find acupuncture to be a relaxing and comfortable experience. The needles are very fine, and any sensation is typically mild, such as a slight pinch or a tingling feeling. Many clients even fall asleep during treatment!
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your specific concerns and goals. Many clients see noticeable results after 5-6 treatments, but for lasting benefits, a series of sessions or ongoing maintenance may be recommended.
5. How long is an acupuncture session?
The initial session includes a detailed consultation and lasts about 60–90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are approximately 30-45 minutes.
How much does acupuncture cost?
First treatment: $150 (includes full medical evaluation and treatment).
Subsequent treatments: $80 per session.
Package pricing may be available for multiple sessions—please inquire for details.
Are there any side effects?
Acupuncture has minimal side effects. You might experience slight soreness, minor bruising, or a sense of fatigue after treatment, but these typically subside quickly.
What should I do before an acupuncture session?
Eat a light meal to avoid feeling lightheaded.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Stay hydrated and avoid caffeine or alcohol prior to treatment.
What are the benefits of cosmetic acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture naturally enhances skin health by improving circulation, boosting collagen production, and promoting a radiant, youthful glow. It reduces fine lines, improves elasticity, and can help with acne, puffiness, and other skin concerns—all without invasive procedures.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, we do not accept insurance for acupuncture treatments. However, we’re happy to provide an invoice for you to submit to your provider if they offer reimbursement for out-of-network services.
